How Does DISC Work?
DISC is facilitated by our Lived Experience Consultants with particular expertise in service provision, quality assurance, advocacy, and peer support. Aligned with the Disability Discrimination Act, and the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disability, DISC is a positive commitment for all organisations to understand their level of disability inclusion.
Utilising a mix of qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, DISC focuses on four key areas which are:
- Attitudes and Behaviours
- Liveable Communities or Inclusive Workplace Cultures
- Employment
- Systems and Processes
