consulting & advice. led by lived experience.
Not everything needs a big project or formal process. Sometimes, what you really need is someone with disability lived experience to bounce ideas off, gut-check a plan, or help you figure out where to start.
We take a collaborative, no-judgement approach. You bring the questions, we bring our insight and lived experience, and together we work it out. Our consulting can be one-off or ongoing, depending on what you need.
Accessibility Checks. Beyond wcag 2.0.
Following the WCAG 2.0 is important and automated tools can help flag technical issues, but they can’t test what it’s like to actually use your website with assistive technology.
We provide peer-reviewed web accessibility by people who use screen readers every day including both JAWS (commonly used with Windows) and Apple VoiceOver (used on iPhones, iPads, and Macs). These tools present and interact with web content in very different ways, and real-life testing helps make sure your site works across platforms.
Did you know?
Many screen reader users listen at 300 to 500 words per minute, far faster than the average reading speed.
That means poor structure, missing headings, or clunky navigation becomes even more frustrating.
Keyboard-only access and meaningful link text also make a big difference in user experience.
Only lived experience can tell you if your site is truly usable. We bring in people with disability who use screen readers to test and highlight what’s working, what’s confusing, and what’s getting in the way so you can confidently say your digital spaces are both accessible and inclusive.
